The traditional show jumping event in Karpfham 3^rd of September 2012

This traditional event in Karpfham lures more than half a million visitors every year to Karpfham in Rottal. 6 big tents with more than 16.000 seats, the Rottal show and presentations of the famous Rottal 10^th wagon are an additional highlight.

As a tradition Monday is “the horse sports day” at the Karpfhamer feast.
The day is full of show jumping events up to 120 cm level for youngsters and open events up to 150 cm, with the classical selection of riders/ horses from Germany and Austria. Every year thousands of visitors come to see the eventing, from 8 am in the morning onwards.

Obviously,Johannes took part in this traditional Bavarian event. The first victory was won in the first event, a course of 110 cm ** level for youngsters, were Johannes rode Quirin (sired by Quadrigus M) with a note of 8,1. Also the 3^rd place was for Johannes riding the 5 year old Quintana, another daughter of our former top stallion Quadrigus M with a valuation of 7,5.

At the 120 cm level Johannes started again. He finished 2^nd riding the 7 year old mare Cosinella ( sired by Conchetto) with an excellent valuation of 8,2.

At the Karpfham Grand Prix , on a 150 cm * course, Johannes started with two horses. The 10 year old gelding Cuba Libre Supreme (Cordobes I x Ex Libris) once again confirmed his top form and finished 3^rd in a big field of starters. Riding Lenin (La Pilot x Acord I) Johannes also finished in a good 10^th position.
